XGRIDS just released an update for Lixel Studio (v.3.5.1.0)

o Plane Draw: Point cloud drawing, it supports common CAD drawing operations and features intelligent extraction capabilities to assist users in extracting vectors from point clouds
o Activation Code Transfer: Provides license unbinding and transfer functionality for software that has been activated online
o Scale: Added scale display in the viewport
o Activation Code Expiration Notification:Added activation code expiration notifications to help users anticipate expiration dates in advance
o LCC Viewer:Supports importing 3DGS data in .lcc format, enabling smooth model browsing during the viewing process
o ilas format support: Supports exporting internally processed point cloud data to the .ilas format.
Optimized Features
o Point Cloud Mapping:Optimized the algorithm to generate outdoor building point clouds, particularly for high-rise sections, achieving ground-level thickness results.
o Map Fusion:
– Resolves the issue of map fusion failing in open tunnel environments
– Enhanced Error Codes: Optimized map fusion error codes for more intuitive reporting
o Point Cloud Filtering: Comprehensive optimization of filtering algorithms significantly reduces point cloud noise while preserving overall image quality and detail fidelity

o Mesh Modeling Improvements:Further optimization of the mesh modeling algorithm to enhance stability and model quality
o LAS to E57 Conversion:Merges LAS format point cloud data with panoramic photos captured synchronously along the acquisition path, converting it into an unstructured E57 standard format file compatible with “BubbleView.”
o Resampling Function Improvements:Resolves a bug in point cloud resampling that could erroneously delete certain edge points
o Dynamic Object Removal: Added dynamic object removal for vehicle-mounted scenarios
o Cloud Map Overlay:Added floor slicing processing. Sliced data can be displayed by floor, enabling focused analysis of specific levels for enhanced visualization
o Profile View Improvements:Supports profile views from any angle
o Bounding Box Display Improvements:Adjusted bounding box display logic to show only when point clouds are selected
